Overview

A.J. Delgado is a conservative political commentator and attorney who served as a senior advisor on Donald Trump's 2016 presidential campaign; focusing on Hispanic outreach and media strategy. During the presidential transition; she had a relationship with Jason Miller; Trump's incoming White House Communications Director; and became pregnant with his child. When the relationship became public in December 2016; Miller withdrew from his White House appointment. Delgado was subsequently sidelined from the transition and never received a promised administration position. The ensuing custody battle between Delgado and Miller became public and acrimonious; with Delgado alleging Miller had secretly given a woman an abortion pill without her knowledge during a separate affair; an allegation Miller denied. Delgado has been vocal about what she describes as mistreatment by the Trump inner circle after the scandal; and has spoken publicly about sexism and retaliation within the campaign apparatus. Before the Trump campaign; Delgado was a regular contributor to conservative media; writing for Breitbart and appearing on Fox News. She holds a law degree from the University of Miami.
