Overview
Former CIA officer convicted in 1983 of illegally selling weapons and explosives to Libya's Muammar Gaddafi. Wilson claimed he was acting on CIA orders, and in 2003 his conviction was overturned when a judge found the CIA had lied about its relationship with Wilson. One of the most dramatic cases of CIA betrayal of its own agents.
