Korey Wise was 16 years old when he was wrongfully convicted in the 1989 Central Park jogger case. Unlike the other four defendants who were juveniles, Wise was tried as an adult and served 11+ years in adult prison. He was exonerated in 2002 when the actual perpetrator confessed and DNA confirmed his guilt. Despite the exoneration, Donald Trump refused to apologize for his full-page ads calling for their execution.
